ABOUT THE SPIRITRAVE PROJECT
spir·it n. The vital principle or animating force within living beings; Incorporeal consciousness.
rave v. To speak, write, or act with wild enthusiasm: (n.) a dance party.
spir-it-rave n.
The empowering manifestation of the vital principle of ALL-BEING through the celebration of peace, love, unity, and respect- expressed in dance, music, art, and community.
At SPIRITRAVE events, we come together to celebrate our humanity, to support our hearts, minds, and spirits with powerful rhythms and sounds, expression through dance, positive images and experiences-- achieving awesome and beneficial "non-ordinary" or "enhanced mental states," without requiring the use of "out of body chemicals" (OBCs).
ABOUT THE VISION
Celebrate life harmoniously, spread happiness openly, empower people continuously, expand consciousness infinitely!
"Sometimes religion becomes yet another source for more division and sometimes open conflict. Because of that situation, I feel the different religious traditions have a great responsibility to provide peace of mind and a sense of brotherhood and sisterhood among humanity." - Dalai Lama

ABOUT THE ESSENTIAL SPIRIT OF RAVING
"PLUR stands for Peace, Love, Unity and Respect. These four ideals are often touted as the elements that make raves more positive and life affirming than other kinds of parties or club scenes."

"Though raving is a [spur] of the moment activity, the ability to completely let go of our mental and emotional constraints often depends on an underlying sense of security and safety. Everything is interconnected; love and respect involves being aware, and taking care of ourselves and each other.
