In 1983 Jay took his first workshop in massage therapy at Esalen Institute. In 1994, after another Esalen workshop, he bought his first set of 'singing' Crystal Bowls. In the following years he taught himself how to play. Moved by the tragedies of September 11th he saw a great need to share this amazing energy and began his performances and chakra meditations. Jay uses the crystal bowls to open the chakras, applying energy clearing aromatherapy mists and morphing colors in each bowl. At the end of this experience he uses transformational song and toning. Jay also is a Certified Hypnotherapist, Massage Therapist and Reiki Master
